Don't we all feel this way? [link]


I've been thinking a lot more than I have the past several months. I was recently laid off from a job that I kind of loved in a field I am passionate about. I think everything happens for a reason. I was starting to dread going to work, so I think this is a blessing in some ways.


I was recently watching a television drama where a husband asked his wife why she doesn't sing anymore. She replied that life had gotten in the way. I feel that way about my art, so I can sympathize with her. So later she talks with another character who tells her to think about what it was that brought her to singing in the first place--the reasons she loves it--and start again from there.

My computer stopped working a few weeks ago and my hope and wish is that the hard drive is okay and it's just something else that's stopping windows from loading. I'll be upset if I lose all my photos and music and videos.

I'm thrilled it's Autumn! It's the most inspiring time for me.
